In 2005, VAD was founded and the first generation video optical transceiver was launched. Subsequently, the first HD-SDI high-definition uncompressed optical transceiver in China was developed, and it received new product approval and financial support from the Ministry of Science and Technology of the People's Republic of China.

In 2008, the industry's most advanced fully digital switched optical platform system was launched, achieving true uncompressed real-time broadcast level images and applied to various national level large-scale projects such as the Beijing Olympics and Guangzhou Asian Games.

In 2014, VAD transformed and began to focus on industrial communication and intelligent control. The Amber series industrial grade Ethernet switches and VDS series industrial grade fiber optic transceivers were gradually applied in various fields such as smart highways, smart transportation, and safe cities nationwide.

In 2016, a new generation of industrial Ethernet switches that comply with the IEC61850 standard, EN50155, and EN50121 standards were successively developed and launched, and applied in the fields of State Grid and urban rail transit.

In 2020, VAD delved deeply into the field of highways, and the industrial grade products developed and manufactured were widely applied in major smart highway projects across the country. At the same time, VAD completed the first round of equity financing in the capital market.

In 2023, VAD will closely follow the national industrial economy's strategy of transitioning from informatization to digitization, complete the second round of equity financing to introduce shareholder resources of listed companies to comprehensively increase capital and expand production, and explore new industries such as electricity, new energy, and smart cities.
